Christmas Bird Count at Lake Hemet

An amazing day last Sunday at Lake Hemet with a Christmas Bird Count group! According to Robert Packard, our coordinator, the final count in the Idyllwild area was over 100 species! That was such great news! Photos of Bald Eagles and Pelicans and Snow Geese and Blackbirds and Bluebirds and Gold-crowned Sparrows … And I had never seen an adult Red-breasted Sapsucker before. Yay!
